Micromotion has developed a new Micro Harmonic Drive gear component set with ratio 120 : 1. At the moment this ratio is available for gear boxes of the size 10. For this type a hollow shaft with diameter up to 1.5 mm is possible. At the moment the size 8 with outer box diameter 8 mm, the MHD-8-120, and the size 6 with outer box diameter 6 mm , the MHD-6-120, are under development.
